The Kia Sedan Lineup

There are two major updates to the current lineup of Kia sedan models. First, the Kia Forte, which has been in production since it debuted in 2009, will no longer be manufactured after the 2024 model year. While fans of the Kia Forte will undoubtedly be saddened to wave goodbye, they needn’t be upset for too long, because Kia has released a brand-new nameplate to replace the Kia Forte: the new Kia K4.

The All-New Kia K4

The Kia K4 is the latest compact car to grace the sedan lineup. As was the case for the outgoing Kia Forte, trims such as the Kia LXS and Kia GT-Line are also available under the Kia K4 nameplate. See below for a full list of available Kia K4 trims and a few feature highlights for each:

The Kia K5

With Kia ceasing production of the Kia Forte after the 2024 model year, the Kia K5 is the last Kia sedan we’ll touch on in this overview. As a mid-size sport sedan, the Kia K5 is larger than the compact car we previously explored, but it also features a Kia GT-line trim in its lineup. Unlike the K4 GT-Line trim however, the Kia GT-Line under the Kia K5 nameplate can be configured with an all-wheel drive system, making for a sportier ride and more thrilling driving experience in Montrose.
