Conquering Road and Trail

Driving your adventures in the 2021 Kia Sorento is your choice of two engines. The 2.5-liter Gasoline Direct Ignition four-cylinder generates 191 horsepower and 182 lb.-ft. of torque. With the eight-speed automatic transmission, fuel economy reaches an EPA-estimated 26 MPG combined. For greater performances, the 2.5-liter Turbo puts out 281 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque while getting up to 25 MPG combined with the eight-speed Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission. Either powertrain is backed by a 10-year or 100,000 miles warranty, whichever comes first.

Granting you more confidence is the Adaptive All-Wheel Drive with Lock Mode that monitors your runs and distributes power to the wheels as needed to maximize traction and handling. You can choose from four available all-wheel-drive modes, such as Snow, which reduces wheel spin when it snows. Torque Vectoring Cornering Control optimizes stability when you round a curve by applying the brake to the front and rear inside-corner wheels.

Looking Good

The exterior of the 2021 Kia Sorento can take such colors as Aruba Green, Passion Red, or Crystal Beige. Front and rear skid plates can also be colored in either Matte Black or Hyper Silver Finish. Interior options include Black cloth, Grey Syntex Leather, and Rust Genuine Leather.

When you have the key fob with you, just stand behind the Smart Power Tailgate for at least three seconds and it opens automatically. Upfront, the full LED headlamps turn on and off automatically based on external lighting conditions. When you want sunlight and fresh air to flood the cabin, open the Panoramic Sunroof that can minimize glare using the Power Sunshade.

Up to seven passengers can lounge on three comfortable rows. Available Captain’s Chairs for the second row slide forward to ease third-row access. You can fold the second and third-row seatbacks to increase cargo capacity from 12.6 to 75.5 cubic feet.

Connecting while on the Road

An available 10.25-inch touchscreen is your key to communications, information, and entertainment while you’re on the road. Connections with your compatible smartphone encourage phone calls or text messaging through the screen. You can enjoy encompassing audio from the 12-speaker premium system with satellite radio delivering channels devoted to ad-free music, live pro sports, the latest news, and celebrity talk. Download the Kia Access app and you can remotely lock or unlock the doors, locate your vehicle on a map, or remotely turn on climate control to make the interior comfortable before you arrive.
